In this crash course, Jay Alonzo will emphasize light as the supreme tool in photography. He will equip participants with an in-depth knowledge of lighting design and control, which will serve as a good foundation when shooting for people, product, food, and other commercial applications.
To immediately apply the newfound knowledge, Jay will guide participants in systematically setting up lights and “reading” lighting conditions to achieve best lighting design and exposure for portrait photography.
Specializing in people photography, Jay has taken photographs for the talents’ portfolio of a local modeling agency, worked with movie production companies on their cinema posters and publicity photos, and done celebrity shoots for High Life magazine, a Business Day publication.
